About Daniel B. Rego
I believe in freedom. I don't want to be a life-long politician. To protect my freedom, my family's freedom and our future, I'm willing to do what needs to be done. I'm running for the 23rd State Senate because I believe that this race need an advocate of freedom who people will listen to. My hope is that my candidacy give some "food for thought."
I've worked as a field director for the Elia Pirozzi for Congress campaign. I ahve served as chairman of the UCLA Bruin Republicans as well as of the UCLA chapter of Young Americans for Freedom, and is currently Vice-Chairman of California Young Americans for Freedom. I also serve as the political Director for the California College Republicans and am a liaison officer for the California Republican Liberty Caucus. I am also a member of the Westside Young Republicans.
I do actually has a life outside of politics. I'm a thrid generation Californian and gew up in our great state. I currently work in the pharmaceutical industry. I am a graduate of UCLA with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Accounting. Other interests include philately, science fiction, as target shooting.
